ALOE

The leaves contain a clear gel which is used for skin-related products such as moisturizers, sunscreens and even burn lotions.

LYCOPENE
Lycopene is a relative newcomer to the world of skin care, but as a member of the carotene family, it's value as an antioxidant is well-founded. Carotenes are particularly good at "scavenging" free radicals and blocking UV-light. Lycopene may be the best free radical scavenger among carotenes, at least twice as effective an antioxidant as beta carotene.
